FREE Breast Feeding Cover – Grab Yours!

March 7th, 2010 by Jenny Evans | Comments Off | Filed in breast feeding cover

I received my free breast feeding cover from the uddercovers website, and I urge all of you other nursing moms out there to get yours too before the offer ends!  Simply click here to go to the uddercovers website, choose the cover you like, and use promo code ONEFREE at checkout to bring down the regular price of $32 to $0 so all you pay will be shipping and handling of $9.95.

All nursing covers from the UdderCovers website are made of 100% cotton and are machine washable.  The rigid neckline allows direct eye contact between mom and infant and stainless steel d-rings allows for a fully adjustable neckline.

Because I don’t do laundry every day, I bought 2 additional breastfeeding covers from uddercovers in addition to the free one and fell in love with it.  I don’t know how I lived for so long without something like this before!  I wished I had one when my firstborn was born.  With my firstborn I was always having to avoid going out and when I did they had to be very short trips worked around her feeding schedule.  I’m still grateful I found out about these covers early enough to use it for my new baby daughter though!

One piece of advice though before you request for your free cover: since you’d be paying shipping and handling anyway, why not place an order for a couple more to save on S&H?  I mean, when you order the free cover, you’d be paying $9.95 for shipping and handling anyway, and each additional item would only cost $1 (S&H).  If you were to order more covers at the regular price later in a separate shipment, you’d have to pay the $9.95 again.  So I’d suggest for you to order additional covers you need at the same time you’re requesting for the free one to save on shipping and handling charges.

All breast feeding covers from UdderCovers are sent via USPS 1st class mail within 2 business days from the time you place your order.  If you’re not satisfied with your purchase you can get a refund within 14 days from purchase date – for details please consult the UdderCovers website.

Breast Feeding Covers – Best Thing Since Sliced Bread

March 4th, 2010 by Jenny Evans | No Comments | Filed in breast feeding cover

Many nursing moms, myself included, share a common problem when it comes to breastfeeding in public – how can you do it discreetly so that your milk-dispensing organs aren’t exposed for all the world to see?

Breastfeeding in public can be an embarrassing endeavor although it really shouldn’t be, as breast feeding should be the most natural thing in the world.  Some moms resort to bottle-feeding but it’s just not the same.  Even if you pump out your breast milk in advance and feed it in a bottle, the bonding that occurs when you’re breastfeeding would still be missing.  Alternatively you can look for nursing stations, but everyone knows that there just aren’t enough of them around and you can’t always find one when you need to.  And when your little one is hungry, s/he won’t wait.  The whole world needs to stop and s/he needs to be fed before you do anything else, period.

Fortunately, someone invented what are called breast feeding covers (also called nursing covers).  A breast feeding cover is a piece of fabric that you can surround your breasts and baby with to keep them hidden from everyone else’s view except your own.  An adjustable neck strap acts to secure the fabric to your neck, and a rigid but flexible neckline creates an opening where you can see and bond with your baby while s/he’s nursing.  Your baby can enjoy good airflow that comes with the opening.

And a breast feeding cover is very simple to use.  I just put mine in the diaper bag and whenever one of my little ones need to be fed while we’re outside, I simply sit down somewhere, unfold my breast feeding cover, put my head through the neck strap and adjust it, take my little one underneath the cover, wrap the fabric around the shoulder that’s on the same side my baby’s head is, undo my bra, let my baby latch on, and redo my bra when she’s done.

To me, breast feeding covers are the best thing since sliced bread.  They provide the privacy us nursing moms need, while allowing for the bonding that takes place through eye contact between us and the baby.  The cover allows plenty of fresh air to flow.  Also, aside from shielding the baby from other people’s view, the cover has the benefit of keeping the baby from getting distracted.  Best of all, breast feeding covers are designed to be increasingly fashionable and trendy, and allows for moms with good fashion sense to nurse their babies in style.

For a limited time, you can get a breast feeding cover for FREE from a website called UdderCovers (LOL!).  Enter the promo code ONEFREE at checkout to waive the cost.  You pay shipping and handling only.  Go over the uddercovers website to get your free breastfeeding cover right now by clicking here!
